Sometimes I just sit in silence and solitude and say nothing; I am just quiet before God. Some days this silence fills me with great peace, and others days I walk away with renewed strength.
Before the craziness of finishing the manuscript of our book, we had a chance to rest in Montana, our former home.
In the past six weeks Zach and I had an opportunity to sing and play guitar at Park Street Church for a Lenten Service and more recently for Disability Sunday. Also, Pat and I had an opportunity to speak at the Brain Injury Association of MA Annual Conference.
This past January, we once again took Harvard students and others to work in the township of Mamelodi in Pretoria, S. Africa. This year’s focus was on revising the curriculum, and the S. African and American college students worked together well to complete the task in two weeks.
We Learn…We Grow...We Dream…We Achieve—learners chanted the aims of the Mamelodi Initiative as they performed a final skit for the Summer Jam during the January school break.
